User Interaction / Experience Designer - Contract. At Synchro, we are partnering with one of the largest and well backed financial institutions globally who are currently embarking on an exciting transformation journey within their investment bank. This role will allow you to be an active player in a flourishing in-house design and UX community that nurtures your professional development. You will be part of a world class design team solving complex business transformation problems and delivering exceptional client-centric experiences. Putting clients and their needs first remains the top goal for their experience team. You'll be responsible for delivering thoughtful user-centered design solutions to complex business problems and shaping the next generation of their digital tools. Working as a valued member of a multi-disciplinary design team, you'll be involved in complex projects with client impact, collaborating with product and technology professionals in a fast-paced and engaging environment. As an experience team, they delve into the problem-space by leveraging any one of the various technique's designers have for finding insights that others can't. And with those insights, also guide the products' evolution. You will be a part of an exciting and growing global organisation where you will enjoy frequent communication with project stakeholders and be an active player in a flourishing in-house design community. About the role: Drive and deliver engaging, thoughtful user-centered design solutions to complex business problems and shaping the next generation of our digital tools Help grow and foster a high-performance UX team by being accountable for overseeing the implementation of the standards across product suites, and be a champion for Design You will collaborate with visual designers, development teams, UX writers and product owners; you'll play a key role in helping us realize the vision; and define the next generation of user experience Actively participate in visual design strategy and product definition, roadmap planning in a multidisciplinary environment with product, design and tech partners Work closely and present your work to with technology teams and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly communicated, agreed and implemented as specified You will leverage your knowledge and experience in design thinking to plan and facilitate ideation and alignment workshops with project stakeholdersAbout you: Passionate about design and have the ability to articulate the value of the design process in the development of products and services Experienced in delivering design solutions in complex business domains, working closely with Product & Development teams Constantly pushing your limits and searching for opportunities to become better, and comfortable receiving feedback and critique, building on the ideas of others Highly proficient with design tools such as Figma, Sketch & InVision and comfortable designing at different levels of fidelity. A cross disciplined collaborator who values teamwork and can build strong partnerships with business and technology partners Coach and lead individuals and teams while assuming accountability for your area of focus Role: User Interaction / Experience Designer Location: London - Hybrid remote working - 2 days in the office Duration: 6 months initially, may be extended to 12.
