Primary Accountabilities:This person is the key solution architect for all Sales, Marketing, Service, and Order Management applications and processes, such as: Sales Funnel, Leads, Prospects, Service Order Management, Service Contract Management, Installed Base Management, Sales Order Processing.Designs and develops new IT technical solutions/capabilities to solve large, complex business problems and deliver new capabilitiesResponsible for technical planning, designing, development and modification of new solution specifications and applicationThis includes technical design of content structure, user/process flows and interfacesProficient in information technology, platforms and architectureManages large information technology vendors in the technical aspects of designing and developing IT solutionsInitiates innovative IT solution/design conceptsTechnical consultant to group and business level managersLeads development of high impact and/or long-range strategic solutions and/or initiatives, including development of broad architectural strategies Responsibilities:Develops and maintains relationships with senior leaders and executives in the organizationUnderstands key business strategies and serves as a chief advisor regarding IT technology and solutionsPlays a lead role in the development of IT roadmaps and plans. Presents to executive teams, adjusting content and delivery to the audience, as requiredKeeps abreast of the latest developments in technology and solutions provided by product vendorsManages consulting partners in the investigation of technology alternatives and delivery of solutions Maintains a strong external perspective about how other leading edge companies are solving similar problems and challengesManages or oversees the delivery of key IT programs and initiativesHelps to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, contributing to the development of othersParticipate in the assessment and development of capability for internal and external teams.Requirements:Demonstrated functional proficiency with the SAP CRM for Sales and Marketing, SAP CRM for Service, SAP ECC SD, SAP C4 and S4 cloud solutions, and other related modulesDeep knowledge and experience in Sales Funnel Management, Service Order Management, Service Contract Management, and GxP complianceExpert in design, configuration, testing, and debugging of SAP sales, marketing, service and order processing modulesSolid understanding of the integration points between these modules and other parts of the SAP business application landscapeDemonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies to meet the changing needs of the businessExperience across multiple ERP/CRM platforms preferredExperience integrating SAP platforms and components with non-SAP platforms and third-party tools.Other Qualifications:Proven track record of successful mergers and acquisition projectsDeep experience and strong methodology in fit/gap analysis, business transformation, management of change, and all that is involved in acquisition integration projectsAbility to translate complex and sometimes conflicting business goals and objectives into IT strategies and plans, demonstrating good judgment and financial acumenAbility to establish a clear vision and direction for the organizationDemonstrates courage to make difficult decisions; ability to align an organization and drive for resultsCommunicates and actively models the development of appropriate technical and leadership capabilities at all levels in the organizationA key differentiator will be candidates with experience leading people in complex, outsourced, global environments A passion for defining key success criteria and achieving breakthrough results; demonstrated ability to drive a strategy and making the necessary course corrections if necessaryExtensive experience working as part of a global, virtual team in a multinational companyExperience working abroad preferred Education/Experience:Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalentTypically 10+ years relevant experience for entry to this levelPostgraduate and/or certification/license may be requiredPossesses in-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty
