We have a new role on our Digital Performance and Planning Team. We lead the Business Management service across DWP Digital to and help deliver Digital Group's Business Plan. We look after reporting and performance using a shared 'spine of information' to support re-use and consistency. We help develop a strategic understanding of risks/threats to Digital/DWP We improve business, workforce and financial planning analysis to provide a clear link between Digital plans and the delivery of services. Our work informs spending, key decisions and strategy for DWP. What will I be working on? Considering, understanding and analysing large amounts of information, and reporting to inform leadership decisions. Applying interpretative and constructive thought to the design and implementation of performance indicators, trackers and plans. Developing, designing and communicating business plans that achieve key strategic benefits including aspects such as people, technology and finance. Working with a wide range of stakeholders providing advice and recommendations based on analysis of available information. Supporting Senior Management and Digital Directors in interdepartmental and external discussions relating to Digital Audits. Managing Strategic and functional risks ensuring mitigations deliver the desired outcomes. One of the vacancies will have the following additional responsibilities and will be based in Newcastle only: Supporting the management of the centralised Diary Manager Supporting the people and communications function across the function. Your Essential Skills Experience of developing and communicating a multi-year business plan to achieve key strategic benefits. Experience and ability to analyse and accurately interpret complex data from various sources, add insight, make recommendations, and credibly present reasoned conclusions in order to influence and persuade board members to take action or make decisions. Experience of leadership, in both inspiring and motivating teams and working across professional boundaries within a diverse senior stakeholder. Experience of analysing, forecasting and planning workforce supply and demand. Working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators to measure and report on deliverables outlined in a Business Plan.
