We are a multinational publishing organization. The London office is one of the main branches with multiple publications present on site.

The successful candidate will be joining to a small, friendly and flexible team. We are looking for someone who is a team player and approachable.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Provide a professional, efficient, and approachable switchboard and reception duties,

Provide a warm and professional welcome ensuring an excellent first point of contact for everyone.

Answering the telephone in a friendly and efficient manner and taking messages as appropriate.

Provide visitor's badges to relevant people and maintain a log of these for security and Health and Safety regulations, also arranging security and photo ID's for all staff

Record and handle all incoming and outgoing couriers.

Assisting with booking taxis.

Maintaining a high level of customer service to staff and visitors at all times;

Carry out internal and external patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment, recording maintenance issues, potential breaches of security or unusual occurrences;

Ensure that those who should not be granted access behind the reception desk are professionally and politely prevented from gaining access or escorted from the building;

Provide support in an emergency or evacuation situation, in a calm and professional manner.

Actively provide information to any emergency services when requested to do so;

Ensure that the building's CCTV system is professionally, effectively and sensitively monitored;

Ensure that any lost property left at the corridors is securely stored, recorded and retrieved for the owner where appropriate;

Any other duties as requested by management
