Receptionist If you have impeccable customer service skills alongside being well presented and have a desire to work as part of a core team providing the best reception experience for corporate and educational guests, then this could be the position for you! To be suitable for this vacancy you will have worked in a receptionist role previously or you may have hospitality experience coupled with good administration skills and a desire to progress your career within a corporate environment. Start: October 2022 Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hours per week (working either 7am 14.30pm or 14.30pm 10pm) will include occasional weekend cover Duration: Permanent Benefits: Christmas closure, 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 over 5 years)+ 8 bank holidays, healthcare scheme, use of onsite gym facilities, reduced accommodation rates, university retail discount card, free meals whilst on duty, Christmas savings scheme + much more! Duties: Provide a professional meet and greet service to our guests as they arrive Ensure that guests are checked in and out using the correct procedures Taking reservations and sending formal confirmations Use of a busy switchboard to transfer calls around the site Support events team in taking reservations, processing pre-payments Deal with complaints in an effective and swift manner Processing relevant invoices for reservations and event bookings Checking revenue and income reports at the end of each day Preparing reports for the financial end of the week Preparing paperwork for the financial end of the week and end of the month Updating all online booking systems with availability Updating the pricing on all booking systems weekly Printing of signage, order stationary, managing lost property, processing feedback forms Processing feedback forms on a weekly basis and communicate this to the wider teams Skills and Experience Required: Professional appearance with a polite and courtesy telephone manner Confident communication skills Strong customer service skills Previous reception experience and or strong administration skills Ability to be flexible with working hours Team player and desire to progress If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
