Job description Quality Assurance Manager (Construction -Civils) Role Summary Management of the QMS, working with senior management to develop, lead, and promote a culture that supports the intended outcomes of the QMS. The setting of quality objectives includes the product, delivery, and service. Ensuring effective management of documented information, competence, performance evaluation, nonconformities & corrective actions, and process for monitoring customer satisfaction. Experience in implementing a quality management system. Development of departmental procedures, internal audit & inspection plans, and methods for continual improvement. Main Responsibilities Driving Continuous and Service Improvement Programs through practical analysis, process, audits and collaborative activities with and for the Customer Role Responsibilities. Quality performance and process capability Make observations identify trends, GAPS, risks Collaborate with Stakeholders and Customers; making improvement proposals where appropriate Ensure that Project Quality Processes are adhered to as per the company and customer s requirements and quality guidelines provided by the customer Drive Process Improvement and Innovation Work with respective Project Manager(s) on the start of new Project(s); conducting transitional audits, audit sampling methodology and measuring system accuracy. Drive quality initiatives for the Project(s), providing useful MIS to the Project Manager(s) / Site Managers / Stakeholders Participate in Audits / Reviews Contribute to bids and customer/project presentations Monitor and improve process compliance and performance for the Project(s) - Action planning and tracking for the Project(s) In process definition and improvement Support and handle escalations Mentoring Quality to the various departments in the Company. Implement and integrate IM Ideally, the person for the role will have Must have 5 years + in a similar role or Degree Quality Management experience within a Construction, Engineering, or Electrical environment Achieving, and maintaining, ISO9001, (phone number removed) NERS accreditation, and ideally experience of implementing and maintaining an Integrated Management System to PAS 99 Full UK driving licence
