Amey will provide and deliver FM, Project Work, reactive maintenance, statutory and mandatory compliance tasks and other services at RAF Alconbury, Molesworth, Croughton, Fairford and other smaller sites. The key is profound knowledge of Project Management processes and maintain focus on site compliance to deliver results. Job Title: Project Manager Location: Croughton Contract: Permanent Hours Per Week: 37.5 What will this role involve? As Projects Manager you will oversee the effective, compliant and timely delivery of Additional Works in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies. Work with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk. This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to: Monitor Supply Chain work teams to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks Ensure appropriate work plans and budgets are in place follow management processes and notify Management of any defects on equipment or systems. Liaise with the local Amey Operations team to ensure site knowledge and on-going maintenance requirements are fully incorporated in the planning and delivery of Additional Works. Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.What are we looking for? Supervising staff in Project Management including: Leading an operational team to achieve KPIs Stakeholder management Management of costs Planning, directing and controlling activities Ability to solve problems and make decisions HND level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)In return: Our rewards make us feel valued here at Amey.
