Production Supervisor

Oversee and manage production shift team members to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards while ensuring the team knows their goals along with continually improving and striving to meet and exceed those goals.


Prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations and monitor efficiency to plan
Monitor quoted rates versus actual production. Investigate discrepancies and initiate corrective action as necessary
Actively monitor quality throughout the shift and adjust as needed to reduce scrap and rework
Assist in development of standard work.
Perform layered audits - include in standard work.
Provide constructive and timely performance feedback and development opportunities for department team members
Continuously lead with our values and operationalize them with department team members
Manage Support Department resolution.
Containment (rework/samples).
Administrative duties
Approve and give reviews
2nd level paperwork (vacation, attendance, etc.)
Management liaison (chain of command)
Disciplinary actions
Participate in the hiring and selection process.
Lead process improvements to improve Safety, Quality and Delivery/Productivity of departments.


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Good communication skills; and, work in a team environment.
Must have good judgement, decision making and time management skills.
Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions; and, to follow directions with attention to detail.
Ability to use hand tools.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 40 lbs; tolerate repetitive bending and twisting; and, stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in temperatures with variations ranging from approximately 100 degrees in the summer to approximately 65 degrees in the winter.


Requires one year manufacturing experience.
High school diploma or GED.


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; balance and stoop; stretch and push pull, transfer, move, lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs. The employee must regularly stretch, push, pull, transfer, move, lift up to 75 lbs.
