We are looking for a highly motivated Pool Attendant to join the team at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. The Pool Attendant will provide service to all guests visiting the Spa Pool and Beach Areas.

Position Description & Job Responsibilities

  • Interact with guests as they enter and exit the pool, beach, and surrounding areas.

  • Ensure only permitted guests enter and exit the pool and beach area

  • Provide guests with towels and attend to their request

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the pool, beach, and surrounding areas

  • Perform daily inspection of the pool, beach, and surrounding areas. This includes, but is not limited to restrooms, patio areas, stairways, walk-ways, trash containers, etc.

  • Ensure areas are well-kept, clean, and free of debris - this includes removing trash, sweeping or leaf blowing designated areas, and clearing of towels, etc.

  • Ensure all furniture is arranged and cleaned accordingly

  • Enforce safety protocols set out by the Resort or hotel

  • Monitor the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.

  • Reporting any damages or incidences to the supervisor.

  • Ensure cleanliness of restaurant including floors, windows, doors, work stations, trash cans, bus stations.

  • Be familiar with all property facilities and outlets


  • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by a supervisor, manager or Director.

  • Upon request, help out in other areas of the resort within the Marina/Spa Department.   

Formal Education and Job-Related Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Job-Related Physical Requirements

Occasional Sitting, Kneeling, Pushing and Pulling, Lifting up to 70 lbs. Frequent Walking, Bending, Reaching, Balancing.  Constant Hand Eye Coordination,  Standing, Walking, Manual Dexterity, Gross Motor Skills, Near Vision, Far Vision, Color Recognition, Hearing

Environmental Factors include

Working; outside, alone, closely with others, Noise/Vibrations, above ground, with chemicals/detergents/cleaners, excessive heat/cold, humidity and dampness, walking on uneven surfaces, working around motorized equipment and machinery.
