Job Summary

The Oracle Cloud Fusion Application Support Lead as part of the Global CIO office will serve as the lead resource for the Oracle Cloud Fusion application portfolio. Responsibilities will include system administration, planning, reporting and liaison for developing strong relationships between business, Financial Application team and CIO. The role will also provide critical IT support and leadership for our Oracle Fusion Phase II implementation which will begin in 2022. The role also has a growth path to expand to Application Support for entire finance portfolio after the Phase II Cloud Implementation has been completed in 2023.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Cloud Fusion Application System Administration and Support
  • Oversee security settings and user access for Cloud Fusion.
  • Work in conjunction with IT 3rd party support vendor to ensure quarterly patching process follows best practice including appropriate review, testing and implementation doesnt negatively impact system users
  • Understanding of current and latest feature released with quarterly updates. Work with IT 3rd party support to share those findings with business partners on a regular cadence and champion their implementation. Ensures appropriate communication to business users of any new capabilities that have been made available.
  • Partner with Oracle via customer connect and Oracle Success Manager to ensure that we are appropriately communicating industry functionality needs that would benefit us and following up on those requests on a regular basis.
  • Provides project management support on major Oracle Cloud Fusion configuration changes, PaaS extensions/enhancements and uptake of features and functionality. Help coordinate confirmation of capabilities and process, SIT-UAT testing cycles, Implementation and Hypercare activities
  • Manages Minor Enhancement Product Backlog
  • Develops and leverages relationships with Application Support team, IT 3rd Party Vendor, CIO and Business to ensure that business needs are being addressed by Product portfolio in a secure and sustainable manner
Oracle Fusion Phase II Implementation
  • Core team member for Phase II Implementation of Oracle Cloud Fusion EPM, Risk and Financials/Projects modules working with team to ensure project is delivered on time and delivered solutions drive expected benefits
  • Will partner with Internal CIO teams to ensure appropriate technology reviews, architecture support and security reviews progress as planned
  • Will work with SI, CIO Office and Business to ensure that Migration and Integrations deliverables are properly supported by B&V, on track for timely completion and appropriately documented by SI/CTO Office at project completion.
  • Will work with Cloud Fusion Phase II PM and partner with SI and CIO teams to ensure other technology related deliverables are completed timely
  • Oversee security settings and user access for newly introduced Cloud Fusion modules ensuring alignment with Phase I modules
Reporting and Technology
  • Research and understanding of the data and table structure within Oracle Cloud Fusion procurement, financials and projects with expectation of becoming a power user of OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tool
  • Provides SME level reporting support to Finance Application Team to assist them in supporting basic internal user requested reporting needs
  • Develops ability to meet a limited amount of BI/SQL reporting requests that do not fit within Application Teams ability/bandwidth and the IT 3rd party support ME bucket
  • Works with the business and IT 3rd party support to ensure user profiles landing pages include best use of reports, infolets, navigation, UI configurations and other technologies to deliver single integrated platform for executing financial system related job tasks
  • Engage with IT 3rd party support, Business and CIO IT support to deliver automation where value added
  • Understand data integrations between Oracle Cloud Fusion and B&V internal and external applications and reporting tools and ensure CTO has properly documented this infrastructure.
Management Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (in Business, Technology, Computer Science or related field), preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 8 years' related experience.
