Compass Health is currently looking for a Clinician II for our Snohomish County Triage Facility in Everett.

THE LOCATION:

Snohomish County Triage Center

The Snohomish County Triage Center (SCTC) has the overarching goal of decreasing the use of jails and hospital emergency departments, acting as a diversion resource for people who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This is an active Triage program with a Recovery Model philosophy. From the moment that Snohomish County Triage Center becomes involved, the individual is engaged in a process of evaluation and planning which involves all available formal and natural supports.

What you will be performing

The Clinician II provides specialized crisis intervention and short-term treatment services to adults and older adults experiencing an acute behavioral health crisis, with the goal of crisis stabilization within the least restrictive setting. This position is responsible for assessing client functioning and needs, and partnering with the client and treatment team to develop an individually tailored care plan designed to promote recovery.

What you will be carrying along

• MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.
• Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices, or interest and ability to learn.
• Individuals who do not already hold a license or associate license through the Washington State Department of Health must submit Agency Affiliated Counselor application upon hire and be approved by the DOH.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License required including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable.

• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
