Interpath Laboratory is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative for the Northern Seattle area, sales commission plan is among the most generous in the industry and a company vehicle is provided. 


Key Highlights of Job Function

  • Pursue new business for our services which primarily is providers ordering patient testing
  • Assess and identify territory for potential Testing Facilities, Patient Service Centers (PSC), or In Office Phlebotomy (IOP) sites
  • Develop one year and five year strategies for new business in territory
  • Jointly set monthly and annual sales targets with Manager for territory
  • Document individual sales calls and activities
  • Document intelligence about the marketplace and our competitors
  • Identify market trends in the health care arena to share with executive team
  • Attend periodic trade shows and conferences; which may include working some weekends and evenings
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients, patients, and company information at all times
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality

Candidate must comply with all state, local and federal rules, guidelines and requirements with respect to safety and health. Education: Bachelors degree preferred, but individual with sales experience considered

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license with no restrictions

Experience: History of managing a large geographic territory, with sales or service experience, preferably in the medical field.  Proven record of success. Cold calling experience a must.  Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmission.

Sales professionals must be able to: enter and exit their assigned vehicle repeatedly and be able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 2 hours nonstop; load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved; drive in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather; and occasionally kneel, bend, and stoop in order to perform vehicle inspections. 

OSHA Category: This position performs tasks that involve minimal exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series but for this position, it is optional.
