Investment Assistant/Analyst Chichester A vacancy has arisen for an Investment Assistant /Analyst to join our client s team in their Chichester office. The company is highly successful and well regarded in the financial services market. Package for the position of Investment Assistant/Analyst Salary circa £24,000 per annum. 25 days holiday raising to 26 after 2 years service 8 bank holidays Pension 7.5% contribution Private medical insurance Income Protection Duties of the position of Investment Assistant/Analyst: The focus of the role is to assist the Oversight team in overseeing our third party appointments in line with a comprehensive checking dashboard. The role holder is responsible for the of monitoring outputs versus service level agreements and challenging the findings, reviewing investments held including performance and pricing and assisting with the completion of regulatory changes including the FCA Asset Management Market Study. This will include: To undertake a daily price check to ensure that company fund prices are sent out accurately To review debtors to the fund and ensure payments are received on time To check the Deals in Period reports to ensure daily dealing is processed with the correct terms and dilution levies To review all large price movements to ensure any movements outside the tolerance level are legitimate To ensure compliance with any Service Level Agreements set To liaise with third party administrators over discrepancies or errors To review and assist with recording breaches To assist in the production and uploading of EMT/EPT Completion of in house fee monitoring Completion of fund analysis checks Monitor and review large movements into and out of funds, and impact on liquidity To advise Investment Managers of reports due, and review reports returned To monitor and review breaches and escalate to the Investment Oversight team where appropriate Requirements for the position of Investment Assistant/Analyst Proven analytical skills Proven excel knowledge and understanding Planning & Organisation able to follow processes and carry out tasks effectively Ability to work under pressure and to cope with high volumes High levels of attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities effectively and within set deadlines. Strong written and verbal communications skills are also essential, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients at all levels. IT skills to include advanced ability in Word, Excel and Discrete and confidential approach The ability to assess and initiate things independently where appropriate Committed to providing excellent service to internal and external clients
