Internal Sales Development Manager - Salary circa £35, 000 plus a team related bonus scheme and profit share, plus benefits. Extremely varied role. Our client are an award winning Facilities Management business based in Yorkshire. They have a client base of over 40, 000 customers across a variety of sectors, and provide key services in building maintenance. They are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Development Manager to support the Business Development Managers due to continued growth and market demand. This is a brand new role, created to add strategic value to the commercial team by taking responsibility for key tasks and activities that assist in driving the business forward. This role is incredibly varied, with no two days the same. Our ideal candidate will be someone with exposure to: Sales, Marketing, Data analysis, Sales Administration and Tender processes. For someone with the right mindset, candidates with experience in some but not all of the above areas will be considered. Job Purpose: To support the field-based Sales team in winning profitable new business, by managing the marketing data on specific targeted markets, generating and qualifying high quality leads and building a pipeline. Including arranging face to face appointments with fully qualified prospects and taking sales responsibility for designated opportunities. You will also be the point of contact for some key accounts, and will take responsibility for creating and managing a team Tender Management system and all the data this involves. Key Accountabilities To develop and manage targeted outbound campaigns in accordance with the agreed Business Development strategy. Utilising outbound campaign data and delivered through the agreed digital channels. To appraise, qualify and record campaign returns, actioning follow ups promptly and referring appointment opportunities to field based colleagues when required. Generating and providing collateral, quotations and proposals directly to campaign respondents when requested, recording accurately in the new business pipeline. Providing regular updates on internal sales activity and campaign outcomes to the Leadership team, including sales won / lost, pipeline movement and assigned qualified appointments. Develop and maintain a Sales and Tender Management system where information required for quotations and tenders can be stored, accessed and easily updated. This includes the Schedule of Rates, answers to FAQ on Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Case Studies etc. To provide internal administration support to field-based Account managers when essential. To liaise with the Sales Director in order to report on account key performance such as which accounts have opportunities to grow in spend Continuously review administration processes and suggest improvements where necessary or appropriate. To support nominated customers as a point of contact for essential contract related MI. This business have won several awards and have grown enormously over the last 5-10 years and are set for further growth as we head in to 2023. An ideal candidate will see this role as a real challenge and will want to be part of a winning team. An ideal candidate may be someone who has worked to a high level in an internal Sales role previously - or a blend of sales and marketing, but who wants more of a broader remit. This role will not involve and cold calling, and full training on how their systems work the broader business will be provided. Excellent opportunities to advance
