This position will report directly to the Director of Shared Services Accounting. This position will be responsible for providing leadership and day to day direction of the Shared Services Homeowner Accounting and Accounts Receivable Departments. Homeowner Accounting focuses on providing monthly statements of account for rental management proceeds and payment disbursements. Accounts Receivable focuses on invoicing for services provided and payment receipt, application, and collections on delinquent accounts. This position will directly supervise 4 people. The position will work closely with the Cash and General Ledger Accounting departments to ID and resolve account reconciliation variances.

Supervise and direct the activities of the Shared Services Homeowner Accounting and Accounts Receivable departments to achieve quality service for internal and external customers.
Assist with the development of training plans for the HO Accounting and AR staff and internal customers that interact with HO Accounting and AR.
Maintain and develop high performance teams that are committed to a shared value system based on integrity and teamwork.
Responsible for ensuring established controls, which are compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 internal environment work and business process needs, are adhered to.
Responsible for the reporting of all IRS required forms (1099, 1042-S, etc.).
Recommend and implement process improvements related to the HO Accounting and AR departments.
Ensure Homeowner monthly statements and disbursements are delivered per the terms of the Rental Management Agreements.
Ensure all AR invoices are billed as needed, payments applied and settled appropriately, and delinquent accounts are pursued for payment.
Responsible for review of Journal Entries prepared by the team as needed on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
Responsible for monthly/quarterly account reconciliation review of HO and AR accounts.
Responsible for supporting YE audit in Homeowner Accounting and AR spaces.
5-7 years of Accounting experience, specific to Hospitality and AR
Prior management and business leadership experience
Strong Excel skills
SMS/Galaxy/Owner Relations/general property management system experience
Experience with developing and implementing automated AR processes
Ability to develop and report on key performance indicators
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant work experience required
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range: $63,000 - $95,000 per year
