Job Description

Guide key client contacts through the development and implementation of resource (energy, water, waste, carbon) management.

Acting as a trusted advisor, produce and deliver insightful, data-driven reporting and recommendations that fuel intelligent, sustainable business decisions for multi-site commercial and industrial clients domestically and internationally.


Client Focus

Lead strategic resource (energy, water, waste, and carbon) management program design and implementation, incorporating technical, operational, financial, strategic and other client business considerations
Guide clients through goal setting, work collaboratively to develop strategies to achieve goals, leverage solutions that allow client to successfully meet their energy and sustainability goals
Lead client presentations, meetings and discussions
Build relationships with key client contacts at the executive leadership level
Increase the breadth and depth of client engagements by positioning yourself and ENGIE Impact as a trusted advisor
Build diagnostic tools and analysis frameworks, to be leveraged across multiple client engagements, to support goal setting, prioritize recommendations, and inform sustainable business decisions


Collaborate with ENGIE Impact subject matter experts across resource areas and departments to transform product synergies into cohesive solutions
Provide coaching/mentoring to analysts and other consultants
Contribute to discussions and analyses to fuel product development and internal projects across Facility Services

Sales and Marketing Support

Build strong familiarity with ENGIE Impact solutions and how they map to client needs to provide sales support for opportunity identification and scoping
Support marketing partners in authoring blogs and white papers, hosting webinars, and providing guidance on other marketing materials related to Facility Solutions

Thought Leadership

Conduct research on industry/client regulatory, market, and external stakeholder risks and opportunities to develop competitive analyses and risk-based program recommendations
Participate in industry events and training programs, including conferences, webinars, and other opportunities
Expand expertise in specific domains to drive emerging business opportunities (possible domains: decentralized energy resources, battery and storage, renewables e.g. solar and wind, internet of things, machine learning, data visualization, carbon neutral goal setting)

Minimum bachelor s degree, master s degree preferred
Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g. PE, CEM, CWEP, LEED, CEA)
7+ years of industry or consulting experience delivering professional services
Demonstrated experience in any of the following resource areas: energy, water, waste, carbon, renewables e.g.:
Energy : demand management, metering and monitoring, capital projects, audit, plant optimization, building systems and equipment
Water: conservation, smart metering, reclamation, audit, risk management, irrigation
Carbon: GHG inventory, Scope 3, CDP, SBTi, SASB
Renewables: PPA development, solar planning/installation/management, battery and storage, distributed energy resources, wind
Successful business development and business process management
Track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction
Experience leading cross functional teams in a matrixed organization and managing complex projects and programs Experienced in the application and interpretation of advanced financial and strategic planning techniques as well as competitive market analysis.
Experienced in energy and water conservation and efficiency strategies as they relate to commercial and industrial markets.
Minimum five years of successful experience leading cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to work in distributed delivery environment, and foster collaborative teams to solve problems and improve delivery
Skilled in synthesizing qualitative/quantitative data, thriving in ambiguity, recognizing patterns and identify non-prescriptive solutions
Ability to deeply engage clients, identify and deliver insightful questions and non-confrontationally challenge client assumptions and ideas
Skilled in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce)
