Radia is currently seeking a Credentialing Licensing Specialist to join our credentialing team! The ideal candidate will be service oriented, have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

The primary purpose of the Credentialing Licensing specialist is to provide consistent, accurate, and timely provider licensing by enhancing our ability to provide professional services to patients at multiple locations.

This role will processes license requests for our medical providers and will partner with credentialing team, providers and state medical boards to assist in obtaining state licenses and Federal DEA s for medical providers. Responsible for compiling required documents, researching necessary information and requirements for renewals and new applications.


Compiles provider s documents and researches detail State Board Requirements, acts as a liaison between medical board and providers obtaining updates on the status of applications and reporting progress.
Applying and renewal of Federal DEA s, & CDS.
Requests and verifies documentation and information pertaining to provider credentials and certifications for licensure.
Communicates with boards regarding licensure qualifications and specific licensing questions and updates state profiles accordingly.
Interact professionally with state licensing boards, Credentialing team, physicians and others as needed.
Effectively manage large amounts of information and documentation.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all physician files.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, state medical boards and DEA regulatory agencies.
Monitor healthcare certifications and licenses to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintains accurate physician and health professional information in credentialing database.
Creates reports using the licensure database as requested.
Identifies discrepancies in information and conducting follow-ups.
Completes providers licensing and licensure renewal applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
Create Process and Procedure on renewal procedures.
Develops and implements methods for successful retrieval of necessary document.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of licensure requirements for individual states.
Communicating and responding in a timely and effective manner on issues.
Runs monthly reports on all Providers who will have licenses which are ready to expire within the next 3 months.
Meets and maintains HIPAA regulations in regard to Protected Health Information.
Work with Credentialing software
Oher projects assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

AA or BA preferred; work experience may substitute for education
At least one year work experience in Medical Licensing is preferred.
Experience within a compliance/regulatory area preferred.
Data analysis experience preferred.
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications.
Experience in a fast-paced team environment that requires decision making and problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
