Cloud Support Specialist Hybrid Up to £40,000 DOE Your new roleOwn and lead the maintenance of cloud platforms and online services on a daily basis, including support and implementation of new services. The companies prioritises proactive management of cloud services and related use, assuring stability, reliability, and cost effectiveness. Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the security, dependability, and availability of Azure cloud.
  • Deliver and put into practise predetermined technical solutions.
  • Establish and maintain IT business continuity and disaster recovery systems.
  • Keep track of and sustain the provision of on-demand services
  • Manage and provide technical assistance for the Azure Cloud.
  • Encourage change and offer guidance on the ongoing growth of the Azure cloud
  • A technical lead who is confident in Azure's architecture and best practises
  • Identify process innovations and improvements, such as automations.
  • Ensuring interoperability with partners and suppliers and supporting it
  • Fill in for the senior application support analyst during routine support team tasks.
  • Work through events and make any necessary quick actions to quickly restore a failing IT service.
  • Ensure that all incidents, changes, and service requests are correctly and successfully detected, classified, prioritised, diagnosed, and managed in the Service Desk IT service management application while providing great and clear communications of issues, service requests, and service updates.
  • As a team member, share your knowledge and experience by advising and mentoring colleagues. This will help them develop new abilities and put them to use in the fields in which you are an expert.
  • Look for ways to leverage cutting-edge technology to boost productivity and adaptability.
  • Carry out technical transformation initiatives in collaboration with vendors and the IT project delivery team, all the while supporting the department's strategic goals.
  • Verify that every solution complies with the companies information security protocols and guidelines.
  • Be in charge of all technical documentation, making sure it is current and in place.
  • Take steps to avoid difficulties, reporting them when necessary, and raising them when needed
  • Recognize and advance possibilities for improvement, and contribute to the overall service improvement plan.
  • Effectively communicate with users at all organisational levels, both technical and non-technical.
  • Foster and uphold an environment where employees value open communication, providing for customers, and striving for progress.
  • Establish excellent connections with colleagues throughout the organisation as well as with internal and external suppliers.
  • To travel as much as is necessary to perform the duties and obligations of the position.
  • Continue to develop the technical skills necessary to meet service goals.
  • Take part in the on-call roster for technology
