BID MANAGER Location of Bid Manager / Bid Specialist / Business Development Manager: Blackpool (possible Hybrid work) Hours of the Bid Manager / Bid Specialist / Business Development Manager: 37.5 hours Salary of the Bid Manager / Bid Specialist / Business Development Manager: £(phone number removed) My client is a major commercial fleet company and one of the businesses within the company are looking for a Bid Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team. The responsibilities of the Bid Manager / Business Development Manager: The preparation and management of formal bid documentation submitted to Local Authorities, Utilities and Fleets - Working with the management and business development teams to identify viable bidding opportunities - Managing multiple concurrent complex bids and tenders - Delivering professionally written proposal responses that clearly articulate their value proposition - Compiling, co-ordinating and reviewing proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring the final response is compelling, consistent, compliant and clear, and that the submission reads with a "common voice" -Understand and organise company governance data (finance, quality, Health and Safety, HR, risk, partnering) to ensure pre-qualification and bid submissions are efficiently prepared and successfully presented - Produce the quality / technical documentation, in accordance with the clients' requirements, and to a standard which results in as high a quality evaluation mark as possible, in conjunction with as competitive a price as possible - Monitor and report to senior management on the quality and success of all submissions - Monitoring tender notifications, building, and maintaining the Tender Library with the most up-to-date content and weekly and ad hoc reporting on tender status as required The Candidate for Bid Manager / Business Development Manager: - Experienced in producing high quality written and graphical sales / tender documentation - Have the ability to work to tight deadlines, responding to urgent needs with composure and efficiency - Have advanced experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel - Is self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload.
