A leading firm of chartered accountants based in Oxford is searching for Audit Semi-Senior or an ACA/ACCA Part Qualified, to join the firm, in a role with excellent progression and development potential on offer.

The key responsibilities for this Audit Semi-Senior based in Oxford are:

  • Regular client contact from the very start and opportunities to build client relationships.
  • Responsibility for the audit assignment and on site team management.
  • Experience of a diverse range of clients in different sectors.
  • To complete audit work in accordance with audit procedures.
  • To assist in other audit related tasks as required.
  • To assist other audit team members.
  • Contribute to financial performance of audit team in terms of budgets, target fees and chargeable time.
  • Meeting budget, chargeable time targets, timetables


For this Audit Semi-Senior position, based in Oxford, our client are searching for candidates who have/are:

  • ACA or ACCA part qualified
  • Able to use Microsoft products confidently
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and Auditing Standards
  • Working knowledge of Pro-Audit and CCH products would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of working with charities is desirable but not essential
  • Be able to assist/complete jobs to high standard with moderate supervision
  • Commitment to auditing and personal development, focused on getting a professional education
  • Professional approach to work, colleagues and clients
  • Able to work in a steady, thorough and methodical manner and see a job through to its conclusion, demonstrating an organised approach to your own work and improves efficiency
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support the development of others
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, trustworthy and approachable
  • Enjoys the challenge of problem solving and comes up with well thought through practical solutions
  • Must be able to travel
