Position Summary

The Associate HR Generalist will be a part of an on-site HR team and partner with factory management to deliver high quality support and advice. This role will support our vision and strategic direction to cultivate our world-class manufacturing facility.

The Associate HR Generalist will also have the ability to lead a broad array of HR initiatives in a highly challenging and rewarding environment where you will play a significant role in impacting our factories and people strategy. This role will work in-person at our manufacturing location in Springville, Utah, Monday to Friday during 2nd shift hours (approx. 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) - hours may slightly vary based on business needs. Duties & Key Responsibilities:

General HR Support
Provide support to employees and managers with employee relations, employee questions/concerns, communication, disciplinary actions, resignations/terminations.
Provide counsel to employees and management to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
Assist in the recruitment efforts including but not limited to: coordination of openings, job descriptions, recruitment strategies, interviewing, and job offers.

Performance Management

Consult with and advise management to maximize employee productivity through timely resolution.
Employee performance issues to ensure appropriate corrective action steps are taken, including coaching, counseling, and corrective action.


Monitor all EEO compliance and Affirmative Action programs.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources matters.

Experience and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology or comparable discipline, or equivalent field experience.
1+ years of experience as an HR Coordinator or Specialist preferred, including current or prior experience working in a manufacturing-based environment is desired.
Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, investigation skills, HR technical knowledge in EEO, FMLA, ADA, and unemployment.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) required.
Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Must have strong organizational and customer-service skills.
Must be team-oriented and willing and able to work a flexible work schedule, based on business needs including 2nd shift coverage.
Must be able to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Preferred Skills:

PHR or SPHR certification.
SAP or SuccessFactors knowledge.
Background or experience within HR, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
